The Secretary of Defense Has No Idea What He's Doing

Crucial information about an upcoming attack was accidentally sent to the editor-in-chief of the Atlantic

On March 15th at 11:44am, he was included in a group Signal message along with several others where the details of a U.S. attack on Houthi targets was meticulously detailed.

The reason I knew this is that Pete Hegseth, the secretary of defense, had texted me the war plan at 11:44 a.m. The plan included precise information about weapons packages, targets, and timing.

Also included were a series of screenshots from the conversation which might be even more shocking:

Yes, that is the Vice President, JD Vance, also included and commenting on his “hate” of our European allies needing “bailing out”.

Now, this kind of scheme is official U.S. policy. We demand monetary reciprocation from our allies to protect their interests, ignoring that their interests are our interests.

Instead, we’re a nation obsessed with repayment, whether it be fealty or treasure, for actions we should be taking regardless.

Not to mention the massive amount of sheer incompetence involved with using Signal to inform the VP and Cabinet of an upcoming attack, then including a journalist in the message.

This level of absolute ineptitude would result in immediate termination from any corporate job, but for the leaders of our government it’s just another day at the office.
